A GLOBAL CAMPAIGN TO CELEBRATE OUR EXTRAORDINARY ATHLETES

The United by Water campaign – launching on 10 July 2023 to mark the 20th edition of the World Championships – aims to acknowledge and honour our sport’s remarkable athletes.

We are asking for your support to recognise every athlete who has competed previously and every athlete who will compete this summer.

Asia Aquatics holds Executive Board meeting in Budapest

The executive Board members had a meeting in Budapest during World Championship and they discussed about some future events in Asia.

The President welcomed all members and thanked Mr. Al Musallam for invitation and congratulated for successful organization of the Championship.

The Executive Director gave the reports on 3 events from February 2024 till December and clarified two more events till March 2025.

Mr. Almusallam announced the good progresses in Asia Aquatics and informed that Maldives facilities are ready to host Asian Swimming in 2025.

Captain Al Musallam appreciated HE Sheikh Khalid for all financial support and cover all expenses during past year.

Mr. Nanavati, Senior vice President, confirmed that the Asian Swimming Championships will be in India (Ahmadabad city) and Government approved it. The new Swimming pool will be opened in January.

Ms. Zhou Jihong also approved that the Asian Water Polo Championship will be in Zhaoqing city. The President thanks Mr. Nanavati and Ms. Zhou for their cooperation.

President Sheikh Khaled anounced that the next Bureau Meeting will be in Kuwait and the exact date will be informed.
